About the Course
Course Purpose:
The main purpose of this course is to provide the necessary knowledge piping systems design and Engineering to the fresh graduates Mechanical Engineers in order to be able to have a smooth start in their future carrier as a piping design Engineers in Oil and gas field.
Main Aims:
• Provide an overview for the piping design and engineering department, arrangement responsibilities, and interface with Other departments.
• Provide an Overview for the codes and standards used for piping design and engineering in oil and gas.
• Provide overview for the Oil and gas projects execution strategy and piping department rules and responsibilities.
• Provide a guideline for the use of codes, standards, and specifications for Oil and gas piping design and engineering.
• Provide a step by step guideline to the execution of the piping design and Engineering work.
• Provide Hands on practical exercise for piping components design as per ASME B31.3 and ASME B16.5

• Process Plant design and piping engineering.
• Codes Standards and specifications for Process Plant & piping design.
• Piping design deliverables and interfaces.
• Piping design tools and software.
• Piping system design and components specifications.
• Equipment piping design and design basis.
• Piping layout, supporting and flexibility requirements.
• Piping components procurement strategy.
• Piping fabrication, installation, testing, and inspection.
• Piping systems cleaning drying and preservation requirements.
• Piping system commissioning and startup.

The instructor is a lead Mechanical static and piping Engineer in a highly repetitive Oil and gas operator company, with 23 years of experience in oil and gas piping, pipeline and static Equipment design.
He provided many training courses to piping engineers and worked for Several EPC companies.
